Graduation Day!!!

I can't believe that the day as come for Spencer. He is offically in Sunbeams next week!! I am so excited for him and the tears begin lol. I guess when you have a child they come with more tears so you can handle your kids. It's crazy to think the first time I took him to Nursery at church he cried the whole entire time!! Didn't want anything to do with it. I had to leave him there and they I remember them bringing him back up to me because he wouldn't stop. Now it's to the point where he beats me to Nursery because he is so excited! He is so excited for Sunbeams and going to primary with his friends from nursery! Thank you Nursery leaders for all you have done and thank you for having patience with my son! Here is a picture of Spencer after church. In nursery they did a little graduation time for them and he was so proud with his diploma in hand!

Christmas was a success!!

Christmas was a success in our house on Christmas morning! Everything Spencer opened he said "Thats what I always wanted! Thanks Santa!". It was so cute! He hauled in pretty good and got tons more from his Grandparents, Aunt's, Unlces and who knows who else lol! Spencer wants me to tell everyone that I caught Santa delievering presents this year. His is a picture of Santa delievering presents for our house.....

It was too fun to show my nieces and Spencer that Santa is real!!! I hope everyone had a good Christmas as much as we did. We feel so loved and will always remember the true meaning of Chirstmas when Jesus was born! May the new year bring you joy and happiness and more blessings instore for you as well! WE LOVE you and think of you often!

Ten Little Monkey's

So over the weekend Spence decided that he would jump off the bed. For those who know my bed isn't really that low to the ground. The flying monkey went flying through the air a couple of times and the last time I told him not too is when it all began. Through the air he went and rolled on his toes. He wouldn't get up and walk so eventually the poor guy fell asleep. The next morning he wouldn't walk on it so I made him go to the kidscare and they wrapped his foot and put a little boot thing on him. He wasn't doing good with it and wouldn't walk with it either. Ironically the room that we were in had a book in there that was called ten little monkeys jumping on the bed! The doctor was really nice and Spencer kept laughing at him so I knew that everything was going to be alright. Luckily today he is doing amazing and he is not in the boot anymore. Infact he forgot about it and ran then said "Mom my foot is better!" but then told me " But no more Spencer's jumping on the bed!"

So some of you know how amazing April is with taking pictures! She did an amazing job with the kids and it was so much fun to have her take our family pictures. This is Spencer of course!! He is so hyper when it comes to people he knows and I am so glad that I have a awesome friend who can bare with him saying Reindeer Poop instead of saying Cheese! Yep! Thats my kid alright. IF he said cheese he stopped and said "I mean Reindeer Poop!". I don't know if it's just a boy thing or an age thing but I could say his favorite thing right now is poop! MY NEW CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!

So I thought I would go try and trade my car because I just wanted something better and easier! So I went in not getting my hopes up because I knew what I stilled owed on my other car. After doing this and that and the other...This is what I pulled off the lot in! It's a mazda CX7 2008. It's sliver as you can see and the windows are tinted already. Also inside is leather seats!!! So yes I am admitting to being spoiled right now! I am so excited and it's so fun to drive. The best thing is I can still tow the jet ski as well! Sorry I just had to share because I can't believe I was able to do it and i love it.

SCARY DENTIST!

So Spencer had his first Dentist appointment. I was more terrified for him then he was. He thought it was cool that his teeth got to "have a shower, soaped, and a bubble bath!" The dentist was really good with him and I am glad that he isn't scared. I HATE THE DENTIST! LOL. We did find out that he has 4 cavaties but will soon be taken care of. Poor kid!! Pictures followed....

NOT BLOOD!!!

So Spencer was in the bath tub having fun with his toys so I thought. Until about ten minutes later he was calling me "mom my chin hurts come look!" I was like his chin why would his chin hurt. So I go in and say whats wrong and he begins to hold up a razor and says " I hurt my chin with this." I was all calm and collected looking for a cut of some sort somewhere and he had tried to shave like Grandpa does. Then I realized that his chin was bleeding a little bit. Don't forget there was no tears yet!! So then I grab a rag to clean up his chin and he won't let me. I said I have to honey you have a little blood on your chin. Shock comes over his face and he starts wailing " NOT BLOOD!!". He wouldn't let me touch it. It wasn't that bad at all. Wasn't bleeding all that much just enough that I couldn't see where it was bleeding from. It wasn't dripping down or anything. So finally I got it all clean up and things are all better. In fact he is a sleep on the couch after all that Drama lol. Here is some pictures of this "NOT BLOOD" cut on his face. I love you Spencer!!!

Furture Congress WOMAN!!!

My Niece Odyssey got nominated to go to Washington DC for National Young Leader Conference from her school. I can't believe how smart the generations are now!! She is going to be going in February for a week. The school pays for half and she is to come up for the other half through family or friends donations. I am hoping that she gets this money because it will be a life time experience for her. I am so proud of her and can't believe how grown up she is! Love you Odyssey and GOOD LUCK!!!

Halloween!!

My good friend April DeLaMare is awesome at taking pictures and took pictures of Spencer and his cousin Mckynlee for Halloween. We had so much fun Trick or Treating. Spencer thought it was fun to yell it before he even knocked on the door. Fun times can't believe another year of Halloween is already passed.

PuMpKiN cRaViNg!!!!

We started our weekend with Pumpkin Craving. Everyone was having fun and got to choose their own pumpkin. Well it least the kids did. I got eleven pumpkins to crave. I think we finished it least eight and still have three more to do. It was so much fun and exciting that it was warm enough to even do it outside. Last year it was so cold we couldn't stay outside long enough to really go trick or treating. So we are way excited for halloween this year and our pumpkins are almost all ready for their starring night being Jack-o-Lanterns.

MaD aT mYsElF!!!!

So this last past week I got the opportunity to go to Tennessee and spend 10 days with my cousin Darin and his family. It was the best vacation yet to have, next to San Diego of course. We got to do a lot of stuff. I went to the grand ole opry with Tiffany, her mom, and my mother in law. It was so much fun. Wyonna Judd and Josh Turner were there so it was a life time to experience. Then we went to down town Nashville and toured the Music Hall Of Fame and the Ryman. We also went and found Johnny Cash's house, Reba McIntrye's, and then tried to find Billy Ray Cryus as well. One day we went to Memphis and stayed at the heart break hotel. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be to stay there. It was kind of dissappointed to be exact. The next day we went to Graceland and had a day of Elvis! It was fun but I can tell you I was done with the Elvis by the time we left. On October 10th my mother in law took us all out for Trav's birthday and we went to an awesome restaurant called the Aquairum where you got to sit and watch Sharks, Stingrays and other fish go by. It was fun and the kids loved it. Then mom got us all presents. It was amazing!! I wouldn't open mine until I got in the car because yeah tears cause black lines going down my face. She got me a ring with two hearts and in each heart there is Trav's birthstone and then in the other one is my birthstone. I LOVE IT!! On the sides it says sunshine and mingus as well. TOOO MUCH FUN!! The kids has so much fun that Spencer was so mad when we had to leave and go home on the plane. He didn't understand why we couldn't just drive back to Ethan's house and play the next day. SO sad.
So this is why I am made at myself. I took over 250+ pictures. Got home and was so excited to put them on the tv so I could so everyone. Well I pushed format! DANG IT!! So now my pictures are gone. ALL OF THEM! Then I was told we could still get them off. So my mother in law took the card to work to have someone work on it and yeah nothing there! I don't think I can get them back. I need to take it to inkley's and see what they can do. But yeah so mad at myself it makes me sick!!!

GRANDMA BLANCHE TIME!

This is Spencer and Grandma Blanche. I heard some talking when I sitting here wondering what Spencer was doing. This is where I found Spencer reading a book to Grandma. It was so cute that I had to take a picture.

SWOLLEN EAR!

So today I was sitting getting ready to play some singstar with my son and all of a sudden his war started swelling rapidly. I was like wow thats night right. Went upstairs to tell Auntie that something was wrong. Showed her Spencer's ear and we took him into kidscare to get it looked at. Meanwhile is other ear started getting swollen but it wasn't as bad as the other ear. My POOR LITTLE GUY!! He kept making sure that we knew it didn't hurt but that it really itches like crazy! So after seeing the doctor, the only answer we got was that it was an allergic reaction to something. DUH!! I KNOW THAT!!!! But from what is it a spider bite, or something else. So yeah, all it is is an allergic reaction and I am suppose to just keep bendryl down him for the next two days. NOT COOL!! It hasn't gone down yet but it hasn't gotten any worse either. My poor little guys but he has been having a somewhat of a good day just playing like normal as long as he doesn't remember that his ear itches!! Here's a picture for you!!

NO MORE DIAPERS!!!!

So the time has come and Spencer is now my big boy!! It started a week ago and I was just not going to buy anymore diapers. We tried the pull ups but it just wasn't cutting it. Spencer still thought it was a diaper and didn't care if he went in them. Then I pulled out some big boy underwear. Let him choose between Sponge Bob and Batman. Then I made him a chart for going potty. IT WORKED!! I was so excited that he was getting it and loving to put stickers on his chart. I had tried everything and anything before now and I think it just caught on to him that getting rewarded for doing something was the best thing in the world. Last night was the first night we did the no diapers thing and he made it through the whole night without going and when he woke up (a few minutes later) he said "mom i pee now". I don't know who is more excited me or him?! Such a relief. I am sure there will still be times that we have accidents but I am so proud of him. Now I have to find him swimming lessons!! Thats the first thing he said to me is "swimming lessons?". I told him that he could have swimming lessons but he had to be potty trained first. It's funny how things like this can make a parent so excited and proud!! Got to LOVE HIM!

VEGGIETALES!!

We went to the fair again last night because they had the Veggietales coming for a free concert. Spencer was so excited but once it started he only last maybe thirty minutes. He was so tired that he wanted to just leave after awhile. Auntie bought him a hate, flashlight and I bought him a t-shirt. It was pretty fun. I don't know if Grandpa and Grandma Nielson and Auntie enjoyed. I am sure that Spencer and I did. Fun memories!!!

Labor Day Weekend and UT State Fair!!!!

We went to marysville over Labor Day weekend and had tons of fun. We got to ride four wheelers all day on Saturday and got extremely dirty! Then on Sunday it stormed here and there so it was just a relaxing day! I went to Richfield for a few hours and visited the Geigles which was way fun. I miss those guys so much. For those that don't know, they are the parents (my second parents!) of my friend who passed away a month before my wedding. She was going to be one of my bridesmaids. They have become and major part of my life!
Yesterday we got the opportunity to go to the UT State fair. Marie my friend from Oregon is in town and it was only two dollars to get in last night. So we had fun running around the fair. Spencer loved it. He got to ride on the ponies they had there and he wanted to last year but it was to late for him to get on. So this year was the year. I can't believe how grown up he looked while riding them. We also went down the yellow slide which wasn't as fun as I was hoping. Spencer started flying in the air so I went to grab him to put him on my lap while coming down and I think I ended up on my back by the time I got down the slide. I am sure it was a sight to see and I had tons laughing. It was a good time and the fair is something we do every year. Thanks Marie for coming with us!!!!!

San Diego!!

We just got back from San Diego. Another year has come and gone. It was way to much fun and went by way to fast. We were gone for ten days and it seems like three days. This is a picture of Spencer in the tree right in front of our campsite. He was my little monkey.

This cutie Kaitlyn, Spencer's cousin. They were best friends while we were there. Trying to do anything and everything to get in that white tent. She is so cute!

Drew and Robert swam to the dock in the middle of the swim area. They were known for playing king of the dock all day long.

We finally got Aunt Naida on the wave runner. It was so much fun. She was freakin out about falling off the whole time we were out there. Then when I got back on shore her foot slipped and down she went in the water. It was a classic.

This is Beth and Ciera doing donuts out on the bay. She was trying to throw Ciera off and she got both of them eventually. It was fun to see them having fun on the jet ski.

Spencer was having fun in the sand and was pulling all kinds of faces as people walked by. This is one that I caught and it's totally a daddy's face. It was so funny.
