2010 In a Nut Shell!!!

Easter was a good fun time! We had fun going and getting pictures in Spencer's very best!!

We went to San Fransico to visit our family that was moving here to Utah for the last time!!

When we were there we had the opportunity to go to Marine World with our cousins and Spencer became a dare devil and went on his first water rollar coaster ride!! Thats him on the front row!

We also had our annual trip to San Diego this year as well!! It is always way to fun and hard to come home after staying at the beach for a week!

Spencer started school this year! My little boy is now a Kindergartener!! He loves it and has fun everytime he goes. He has met a lot of friends and has a new friend almost every day!
Thanks giving was fun as well! We had a small one at our house and ate lots of turkey!

Christmas was good to us this year as well! Spencer got spoiled rotten from Santa and everything else. I got spoiled rotten from everyone as well. We love Christmas time not only for present but for the true meaning of Christmas. The birth of our savior! The gospel and knowlegde of eternal families and the blessing it brings to our lives!! I hope everyone had a wonderful 2010 and that they are truely excited for another fabulous year! Bring on 2011!!!!

Time Flies on BY!!

It's been a long time since I have updated things on here! In April we had yet another funeral in our family. It was my Dad's wife. It has been a long process for my dad since then of course! He moved out of St George and on to AZ.

May was fast! We wented up going to San Fran to visit my Aunt Sharon one last time before she moved up here to UT. It was so much fun! Lots of scenic drives and site seeing! Spencer had fun but didn't like the fact we had to drive alot to get around. We saw so much stuff that the week flew by! Then at the end of the month it was Gentry's bday and the year mark since my sweet grandpa passed away. It was a an okay day!

June just didn't come I don't think! I can't believe here it July 3rd already! I got to pick my niece up from the airport for her to come visit for 4 weeks then we will take her back home. It's going to be a fun summer! Just hope it slows down for everyone else as well! I hope everyone has a happy 4th of July and you get to see lots of fire works!!!

5th Anniversary Already!

We stayed at a hotel last night for the 5th Anniversary of Trav's passing. This was Heather coming out of the waterslide.

This is my niece coming out. I think she was the brave soul who tried it first!

Spencer and I rode this wicked thing! At first he wouldn't go but yes I am a bad mom and forced him to go. He LOVED IT!! Thought it was pretty fun!

This is my fish. His name is Spencer, and yes he is wearing a Barbie life Jacket! I couldn't find his but hey he didn't care!

Spencer was watching the balloons go to his dad. He loves the fact that we get to spend a night at a hotel and then come up to the grave to let the balloons go! I am so proud of my little guy for all that he has indured at his little age from losing his Dad at a very long age, to losing his next closes people.. My Uncle Don then Grandpa and Grandma! I LOVE YOU SPENCER!

My wonderful family who has supported me through these last 5 years! Families are forever and I wouldn't know what to do if I didnt' have them so close to me!

And they are off!! It was so fun to watch them get stuck in the tree and then gradually get lose and sore high. It reminded me kind of what has happened these last 5 years since Trav has been gone. I have gotten stuck for a while and with Spencer I have losen up alittle to fly high! I love him and I love the challenge my Heaven Father gives me everyday! It will help me grow even stronger and I know the challenges in my life he sends my way that I will accomplish them and learn to from them as well. A shout out to my friends and family.....I love you guys and just wanted to thank you for your support and love I feel from you ever minute!

Kindergarten!

Spencer and I went to kindergarten orientation on Friday. He was so excited the whole day to go and then when we got there he was ready to go home. It was a lot of info for the parents but for the children it was pretty boring. I can't believe that he is old enough to be going to school in the fall. I am excited for him but yet scared as well. It will be a total different routine for him and I to get used too. We had the chance to meet with some of the kindergarten teachers and I think he will have a real good time there!
He is growing up way to fast and I can't believe it! I think already said that but it's just crazy when I see his pictures as a baby and look at him now. His new thing in life is to quote movie lines. His lastest movie line is from Cat In The Hat. He will sit there and then out of the blue says " I'll get you and it will look like a bloody accident." It's funny!

GLASSES!!

Today I took Spencer in to get his eyes checked! It turned out that his left eye isn't as good as the other eye so he has to get glasses! These are the first second choice ones that he picked out. His first pick was pink with rinestones on them. Should I be worried? Heck NO! I would so let him get them if there was any mean kids out there that would tease him! My little boy looks all grown up in this picture now! I am hoping the eye will progress as years go on. The Dr said that it should be almost 20/30 by the time he is 8. I love my little guy so much!!

PrOjEcTs!!!!

Spencer's room is finally finished!!! It was so much fun to do and he loves it! Grandma Nielson even bought him a new bed for his birthday as well. It was an early birthday present for him so of course we had to put it up!! He loves his room and plays in it all day long but getting him to sleep in it, is going to be the next challenge!!!

Another project I have been working on is a diaper cake. My first one yet and it was so much fun! They are way easier then they look and I was so intimidated by it but once I got going it was a breeze! Good times! Here is the picutre of the final project......

Santa even at the cookies we made that night for him. He also wrote on Spencer's new crayola marker thing that Auntie gave him that night too!! ONE SPECIAL BOY!!

As you can see Christmas went very well at our house. Sorry it has taken me so long to post anything. It's been busy with loved ones around and in town! For New Years we stayed home and had family and friends over. It was fun! Playing games and laughing is the best way you can say goodbye to the end of the year bring in a new one!! It was been an eventful past year and we hope that this new year will bring us cheer and happiness!!!
