San Diego!!

We had way to much fun in San Diego. We went to Sea World and it was so much fun!! Spencer loved watching Shamu and touching th star fish. If you ask him though this would be his most favorite part of the day which is getting his face painted. He is suppose to be half hulk half human. It was fun watching the process to the final project.

One night we went to Belmont Park and let the kids and kids at heart run wild! It was fun to watch Spencer get excited about the rides this year and see him go on the rides. It's always fun to be close to the beach as well.

Spencer thought it was fun to dig a whole and stick his toys in the sand. The fun part was when he didn't remember where he barried them. So it would be fun trying to find them! He also got used to the water and loved swimming with his life jacket. He thought he was big stuff when he could go in the deep part of the pool.

NeW pRoJeCt!!!!

So my friend asked me to make a rememberance book for her boss and this is how it turned out!!

I think it turned out pretty good! It was so much fun to do and I think I might make one for myself!

4th Of JULY!!!!

My friend Marie that came to visit me from Oregon. She is so much fun and it made the 4th even better!! Thanks for coming!!

My three nieces that are monkies and my spencer monky as well. They were getting mad at me because I kept telling them how to pose.

This was my cake I made. It was a strawberry blueberry cheesecake.

It was a really nice day. Better then I thought it would turn out since Grandpa wasn't here. We had a nice BBQ and then played some games as well. We played a puzzle game that ended up being a huge flag, bingo, penny game and a water game. It was a eventful day.

At the end of the water game somehow my son got to be king of the hose and wasn't letting anyone near him to get into the house. We had no joke three adults outside that were stuck. I was down the street one way while my brother was getting chase the other way by Spencer. My mother in law wasn't fortunate like us and ended up getting pretty wet since she was standing right behind Spencer before she realised why we were running away from him! I am sure it was a funny sight and man did Spencer have FUN!!! After that it got dark and the night sky's lit up with does of Fireworks! I am so glad to be living in a free country and it always gets me teary eye to hear the Star Spangle Banner. Happy 4th Of JULY!!!!

Another Father's Day Gone!

So I have been thinking about today. On my facebook I wrote something about it being the worse yet to come. It wasn't all that bad. I do miss my Husband more then anything on days like this. I have always hid from the world on Father's day. I hated watching Spencer trying to figure it out at times. Today in church I was very impressed with my son. Since it has been 4 years that I haven't gone to church for Father's Day i was alittle iffy today. So rambling I know...But Spencer got up with the primary during Sacrament and sang "I am so glad when daddy comes home" and I was worried about it. Then he was a CHAMP!! Didn't even phase him like I thought it might. With Grandpa not here anymore I thought that would bother him just a little. Well fine it was bothering me a little so I just assumed. Anyways, I learned from my 4 year old that the world still goes around and things don't have to be the worse just because of what day it is. As Spencer says "Daddy is here on earth mom. We just can't see him because of the viel is in the way but we will see him again!" It amazes me how smart they are and I am so grateful that he is already gripping on the most important thing and that is being with our families through all eternity! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY BABE!! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY GRANDPA!! I love and miss you guys so much!!

A new member of our family!

This is Patrone! He is three years old and is a Sharpei. We found him through ksl.com. He is very good and already trained and is just a well rounded behaved dog. Spencer loves him to death already and is so glad that I let him have a dog. He looks tough but is just a big teddy bear!!

A long last couple of weeks!

As some of you know my grandpa/dad passed away alittle over a week ago almost two weeks. He had gone in the emergency room because he was throwing up blood due to a whole in his eshopgus. As time progressed they took him to xray and while he was down in radiology he aspirated the dye and was put on a breathing tube. It was down hill from here on out. We rode this rollar coaster for two weeks and poor Grandpa was exhausted as well. They had put him on a breathing tube and he wasn't breathing on his own anymore. So as a family and grandma we decided it was best to take him off the ventilator. He then passed away on May 31st 2009. It was a peaceful thing to watch. I am so proud to be known as his granddaughter and his daughter. He was a very good gentle man and I miss him so much. The times we had teasing each other and the long talks we had about anything and everything. I know he is in a better place and Travis is with him and they are having a good time talking about everything. I love you grandpa and I will always remember who I am and where I came from!!! God be with you until we meet again!!!!

Craft Time again!

So I went to this store in the District called Hobby Lobby and it's amazing! It has so much stuff that was half off and way to much stuff that could get me in trouble as well. These letters were there and I have seen my friend do her kids names as well so I thought I would try it out. They turned out fairly good. Spencer thought they were pretty awesome because they get to go up on the wall so everyone will know it's his room.
