Gentry's Dance Recital!

We drove out to Eagle Mountain for my niece's dance recital. The whole time my son was wanting to be on stage. At first there was tumbling and that is what got him really excited! He thought it was cool that you could jump and roll to music. Maybe this is a clue for me to take my kid and put him in tumbling. It was fun to watch my niece dance. Sure makes me want to have a girl. They danced to Zippidy-doo-dah and it was so fun to watch her. She is the oldest of the group so she was telling the other little girls what to do. Fun times, I can't believe that she is old enough let alone that my son is three!!! Fun times here is one more picture of Gentry doing one of the dance moves that I like to call the dance fingers too cute not to post!!!

Father's Day

It's funny how time flies by and you get caught up in your life before you realize that almost a month has gone by. Today was a good day despite being Father's Day! I do wish every Father a Happy Father's Day, but oh how I hate it! I am so proud of my little guy! He is what keeps me going every day of my life. Today he ran upstairs after he was awake and wanted to go to church. I wasn't going because of the day but good old Auntie told Spencer to go get ready and she would take him to church. I just couldn't believe how excited he was to go to church. It made me feel bad for not going with him but I just can't handle some days! In nursery they made a picture of a father figure and for the Bow Tie they used a package of M&M. So Spencer came home and gave it to Grandpa!! He was so excited about it. So truely this day that I thought would be not a fun day turned out to be a remarkable one just because of my little guy!! Of course my family too!!

Memorial

Memorial weekend was so much fun! I took of to California to see my cousin and her new baby and was able to leave Spencer behind with his Auntie and Grandma Nielson. It was nice to be gone and have a break. It was also nice to be back to my little guy who missed me way to much!! On memorial day we went to Daddy's grave to leave flowers, and to Great Great Grandparents graves as well. It was a very good day compared to those in the past. Spencer is getting more curious and comprehended things about what is going on in life and his Dad. It is sad to hear him ask about it but he is becoming a stronger kid knowing about it as well. Thanks so much for all your help this weekend...AUNTIE and GRANDMA NIELSON!!

GRADUATION!!!

Well I did it! I walked on Friday! It was fun and a good experience. Man did I forget how long graduations can be. It felt like it was hours before that moment of fame came where I got to walk across with my name said. There were it least 3,000 plus graduates there that day. I am glad it's over and not it feels more like I am a graduated! So thanks for everyone that has helped me get there and has taken time to watch my child for me so I could accomplish this!!

Funny things!

So, today has been one of those moments with Spencer. He is so funny and when he says things I just have to stop and laugh. We were driving over to Grandma Nielson's house this afternoon and I turned my blinker on but the wrong way. So after I turned and realized what I just done I said to Spencer "GREAT! Mommy just had a blonde moment and put the blinker on the wrong way." Spencer then preceded to tell me..." Mom, Thats not good!" I started laughing after. Not thinking he was going to respond to me that way. It was just way to cute. On the same ride to Grandma's house he was talking about the broke road which is I-80 freeway. There are always trackers there and everything for the construction. Well he was like "Mom look at all those trucks!" I was like yeah they are lots of them. Then he was like "wait, I just called them trucks. I didn't mean to call them trucks! They are trackers! I forgot their names!" It was so cute. Sometimes it's funny and you can't figure out where your kids learn these things. I take for granted sometimes this moments but I should share them with everyone because each day is a different day with a new saying said!! LOVE MY SPENCER!!

Graduation!!

So I finally did it!! I am getting my AS degree in MAY!! It's been a long hawl but I am going to do it. I wasn't going to walk because I thought well its only my AS but then I got thinking I paid alot to get that degree so I should make a good day out of it LOL!!! So yeah some of you know about me debating back and forth but I have finally made the decision that I AM WALKING!!! Thanks for everything you guys have done to help me get there. I am so excited to be done.

Where Babies come from!

So cute little story to tell....I was watching my soap opera when I heard Spencer talking. I was like ok so I thought he was talking to me. Well I was wrong. I asked him who he was taking to and he said to his friend. Well no of his friends where there so I was like "ok, who is your friend?" He preceded to tell me "Zack!". I was like oh ok "Hi, Zack!". Spencer then tells "Oh, wait! Mom you can't talk to him because he is a baby and too little. I had to swallow him and put him back in my tummy because he can't walk or talk and thats where babies goes!". I then was like oh ok I am just going to leave it at that. Didn't want to have to give that talk already. So basically he thinks that we swallow babies until they are ready to come out. When they come out we precede to throw them up. Only if that was the way it happened! I think we would all have more kids if that was the only thing we had to do!!!
