24th of July!

We had a good Pioneer Day! We started with Spencer playing in the pool and having fun staying cool. My brother, sister and in laws came over for some BBQing and then Spencer thought it was time to get back into the pool. Well after cleaning him up from the pool and getting him all warm and dried of he decided that it would be nice to play in the mud.
The first picture is right before he thought it was safe to get in. The second Picture was my siste taking the picture because he has sat in the water and that was the after shock of doing it. The third and fourth pictures just make me laugh. It shows how much he is just like his dad. He basically was telling me it doesn't matter that I am playing in the mud it's a one time event and I can take a bath!! I was trying to be ok with the situation just because I didn't want to have to clean him up. But it was fun and you can't tell me he isn't having fun either!!!!

This is just too fun to pass up.
Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! I guess good or bad but be nice!!!!!!!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

4th of July and the Lake!!

It's crazy how time flies by again. We had a fun time this 4th of July! Carol and I started cooking a big breakfast for Rob and his girls. My mother in law also came over as well. Then we let the kids swim all afternoon and day. They had way to much fun. Before we had the BBQ we played a game that my mother in law found. She and I went out and bought all the t-shirts and two days before she put them through the wash. After the wash she took them and wrapped them in wax paper and then put them in the freezer. The object of the game was to see who could get their frozen shirt on first! Out of the kids Kyn was the first one to get hers on. Out of the adults it was Dustin. It was fun to watch and see what everyone was doing to try and make them melt faster so they could win. A lot of the kids were quick at thinking and put them in the cold pool. So it was fun. I personally sat on my shirt but it didn't work. Sara is here putting her shirt between her legs but it didn't work as well. You can see Dustin he is pulling his apart. It was amazing how hot it was outside but after this my fingers were frozen and I was cold...lol. After this game we then had our BBQ. It was so good! Thanks for cooking Will and Dustin!! Then we played Bingo! We all had the chance to win once and it was fun too. Then of course after that we had to wait for the night to come, so we could do our fireworks. Spencer didn't like fireworks last year so I was hoping it would be different this year but nope he didn't like them again so he had to go inside. Over all it was an awesome 4th of July filled with fun, Family, and games. The next day being Saturday we continued the fun. Woke up early and we all headed up to Jordanelle. Found some beach front and launched the Jet Ski. It was pretty cold in the morning so me being brave (so I thought) didn't put any sunscreen on and now I am paying for it. I have five blisters on my head that have popped and now are scabbed over! Fun times! The day was fun the kids had way to much fun and so did we riding the Jet Ski. Spencer didn't feel good so as soon as we got there he wanted to come home. But after playing in the water he was ok. This is him after her was all tuckered out in the afternoon. I think he slept there for it least three hours!!! My friend and her husband was in town from Idaho and they came to join the fun. Got to love Family, Friends, and play old fun!!!!!!
